Falshaw Fables is a publishing company established in 2024 and is the home of all her books including of course The Old Tree House Hotel series but also Accidental Adventures of Wallace Harlequin Junior.
Florence Falshaw was born in Nottingham growing up within a large family. Florence grew up loving children's literature and is passionate about bedtime stories and fun fables.
She is married to Andrew who she met in Derbyshire and has a gorgeous Son Samuel who is her pride and joy.
After an initial spell as a student nurse, Florence moved to Manchester to study Environmental Management. The BSc degree cultivated her passion in nature and the countryside and how we can help with education and action.
Later her path took her into Project Management where she has spent many years supporting clients in building websites and applications.
All the drawings you see on this website and in all of the books have been designed and created by Florence Falshaw.
Florence has lived in the Peak District, Derbyshire for about 20 years. It is where she met her husband. She currently works full time as an IT Contractor. She loves writing and drawing as well as walking her dog in the Peak District. The Peak District is where her passion for children's literature and nature came into its own.
